Abstract

La Balanza Comercial en México ha registrado cambios importantes en los últimos años. Al instrumentarse la aper­tura comercial se esperaba mayor movimiento tanto en las exportaciones como en las importaciones. En un principio se pensó que el impacto inmediato de esta medida no tendría que ser recesivo, ya que eso dependería del ajuste de los sec­tores importadores y exportadores. Sin embargo en los me­ses recientes se ha presentado un receso en la actividad económica debido a la contracción del mercado.
