EFECTOS DE LOS PRECIOS INTERNACIONALES DEL PETROLEO EN LA BALANZA COMERCIAL DE MEXICO

Abstract

La balanza comercial de los últimos años ha presentado gran dinamismo a consecuencia de los efectos de las políticas cambiarla, comercial fiscal y de cambio es­tructural. Actualmente México atraviesa por una ex­pansión muy importante en sus importaciones y ex­portaciones no petroleras. Las exportaciones totales de mercancías de enero-septiembre de 1989 sumaron 17,070.74 mdd, monto no registrado desde 1985 antes del desplome del mercado petrolero internacional. Las exportaciones no petroleras sumaron ingresos por 11,271.1 mdd, lo que significó un aumento de 7.4 por ciento con respecto al nivel alcanzado en el mismo período de 1988. En las exportaciones no petroleras destacan las ventas al exterior de los productos manufactureros.
